PAISAJES CON MAR.

He encontrado un lienzo que guardé sin finalizar hace aproximadamente 15 años, cuando estuve viviendo durante un tiempo en Andalucía.
Tras varias mudanzas y destinos, acabé en Galicia, donde ahora tengo mi hogar y donde he decidido retomar este trabajo artístico fusionando los paisajes, colores y luz de su inicio en el sur con la inspiración de los paseos junto al mar en el norte; fusionando mis técnicas y trazos actuales con las de antaño.

Cada embarcación tiene asignado un nombre que corresponde a un artista cuya temática pictórica o una de sus obras esté relacionada con el mar y el agua.

Se trata de un homenaje a las pinturas de Joaquín Sorolla e Ivan Aivazovsky, a «La Gran Ola» de Katsushika Hokusai, a «Impresión, Sol Naciente» de Claude Monet, a «Noche Estrellada» de Vincent Van Gogh, a «Wave» de Georgia O’Keeffe, a «Las Montañas y el Mar» de Helen Frankenthaler y a «La Yolé» de Auguste Renoir.

LANDSCAPES WITH SEA.

I have found a canvas that I kept unfinished about 15 years ago, when I was living for a while in Andalusia.

After several moves and destinations, I ended up in Galicia, where I now have my home and where I have decided to resume this artistic work merging the landscapes, colors and light of its beginning in the south with the inspiration of the walks by the sea in the north; merging my current techniques and strokes with those of yesteryear.

Each boat is assigned a name that corresponds to an artist whose pictorial theme or one of his works is related to the sea and water.

It is a tribute to the paintings of Joaquín Sorolla and Ivan Aivazovsky, to "The Great Wave" by Katsushika Hokusai, to "Impression, Rising Sun" by Claude Monet, to "Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh, to "Wave" by Georgia O'Keeffe, to "The Mountains and the Sea" by Helen Frankenthaler and to "La Yolé" by Auguste Renoir.
